Lakeside School Custom Bus Snow/Adverse Weather
Reroute Information
On early mornings when snow has fallen or is threatening, please use one of the LION TALK numbers (MS 206-726-2870 or US 206-726-2859) to learn the status at school, allowing other numbers to remain open. LION TALK will announce whether school is open or closed; there will be no late starts. KOMO, KING, and KIRO-TV as well as AM radio stations KIRO-710 and KOMO-1000 announce school closures. Information is also available at www.schoolreport.org .
Occasionally, when a storm is approaching or driving is precarious, school will be dismissed early. Parental discretion is advised for students driving in snow and icy conditions.
