Directions
Lakeside Upper School and Middle School campuses are at the north end of Seattle city limits. The school grounds are just off Interstate 5, the main north-south thoroughfare in Western Washington. The Middle School is a block south of the Upper School campus.
Updated April 1, 2024: Due to the 145th Street Corridor Project by the City of Shoreline, the following guidance is in effect from April 1 - Nov. 1, 2024. Please plan for additional travel time and watch for detours during this period
Driving to Lakeside Middle School
From I-5 northbound, take exit 174 (NE 130th St.). Turn left onto 130th St. (go under the light rail construction). Continue straight, and then turn right onto 1st Ave NE. Go three blocks, then turn right onto NE 137th St. The main entrance to the Middle School will be on your right.
From I-5 southbound, take exit 176 (NE 175th St.). Turn right onto N 175th St., and turn left on Meridian Ave N. Continue straight, and turn left on N 145 St. Make a right turn when you reach 1st Ave NE. Continue past the Upper School campus (on your left), and turn left onto NE 137th St. The main entrance to the Middle School will be on your right.
Visitor parking is located near the flagpole at the main entrance on 137th. Please start your visit by checking in and registering your vehicle with the main office. The office staff can answer questions.
The Middle School admissions office is located in the main office of the Middle School.

Driving to Lakeside Upper School
From I-5 northbound, take exit 174 (NE 130th St.). Turn left onto 130th St. (go under the light rail construction). Continue straight, and then turn right onto 1st Ave NE. Go four blocks, then the Upper School campus will be on your right. Turn right onto the main driveway (after 140th St.).
From I-5 southbound, take exit 176 (NE 175th St.). Turn right onto N 175th St., and turn left on Meridian Ave N. Continue straight, and turn left on N 145 St. Make a right turn when you reach 1st Ave NE. The Upper School campus will be on your left; enter via the second driveway.
Visitor parking at the Upper School is located in front of Allen-Gates Hall. Turn into the main driveway from 1st Ave. NE, and then take an immediate right followed by an immediate left.
Please start your visit by checking in and registering your vehicle in the main office in Bliss Hall (the building with the clocktower). The main office staff has maps available and can answer questions.
The Upper School admissions office is located in Fix Hall, next to Bliss Hall.
