Endowment Campaign Goal: $16,000,000
A significant part of excellence for any institution is proper stewardship—maintenance and improvement—of its physical plant. Lakeside School has already taken major steps to upgrade and expand the buildings that house its program. However, Lakeside still needs to renovate several buildings—including Bliss Hall, Moore Hall, and McKay Chapel—to bring them into compliance with current building codes and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Parsons Field's renovation was completed in fall 2007 with new FieldTurf™. Home to Lakeside's football teams in the fall and the boys and girls lacrosse teams in the spring, the new Parsons Field was dedicated at Homecoming on October 13, 2007.
