The 2007 FirstSwing Baseball/softball Christmas Camps

 

The FirstSwing Foundation is offering its annual Christmas baseball/softball camps at the Everett Boys and Girls Club December 27 and 28.  These interactive camps/clinics are designed to teach the FUNdamentals of the game in order to empower youngsters to GET GOOD!, and learn “life’s little lessons” in a FUN environment!! Recommended ages: 6-14 and any ability level! There will be two different sessions and each will be limited in number (30) and specialize on a certain aspects of the game.  The camps may be taken as a set or individually

 

Thursday, December 27th:   This session will be held from 9am-noon and will focus on the three basics of the game: conditioning, throwing, and pitching.  It will include a syllabus, cool gift, and Z bar.  Perfect for baseball or softball players.

 

Friday, December 28th:  This session will be held from 9am-noon and focus on hitting.  It will cover the fundamental mechanics, swing work, bunting, and drills to improve overall hitting.  There will be a syllabus, drill sheets, and a gift.  Bats and helmets provided if necessary.

 

COST:  One session(your choice)  $60.00  Club members $30

              Two sessions(both))  $100.00  Club members  $60

            

Instructors:  Phil Rognier, Executive Director of FirstSwing and a baseball coach with over 45 years of coaching and clinic/camp experience.  The Klouter team coaches and interns.

NEEDS for CAMP:  Players should wear suitable workout/baseball gear and gym shoes.  Bring cap, glove, bat, and other gear.  Helmets, bats, and state-of-the-art equipment will be provided.  BRING water and a jacket!!!
