Private Lesson Information

Private lessons are not required; however, a private lesson will significantly improve your student’s enjoyment and opportunity for success, and is therefore recommended. We realize your student may already have an excellent private teacher and we encourage you to continue with your current instructor. Our program is designed to help students and families—who are not currently involved in private lessons—find a quality teacher who can fit into a busy Lakeside schedule. We have received enormous interest in our on-campus private lesson program and space is limited. If your family receives tuition aid from Lakeside, please contact Tearon Joseph in the financial aid office to learn about aid for private music instruction.

If you are interested in this service, please complete the appropriate lesson request forms and give it to Andrew Krus in the music office. (Lessons are arranged for the instrument that your student plays in the Lakeside ensemble).
