Welcome to the instrumental music program. At Lakeside, we strive to inspire, motivate, and challenge each student whether they are just getting started or a seasoned musician.  Lakeside School offers conservatory level instruction in string instruments, a comprehensive band program, and studies in world music. Our students participate in large ensembles, explore chamber music, and are put in contact with the excellent private teachers in the Seattle area. From the very first lesson, Lakeside musicians explore music making with dynamic educator/performers in a positive and collaborative environment.

Your time is important, so we want to make it easy for you to participate fully in this unique curriculum. Our music faculty and staff are always available to help you include instrumental music in your schedule.
