Parent/Student Information Meeting —August 5, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Mandatory Pre-Trip Meeting —August 9, 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
We will explore the desert country of the Lower Salmon River in Idaho and a section of the Snake River on the Washington-Oregon border. Our days on the river will be spent learning paddle-rafting skills on a splashy whitewater river. Other activities may include an overnight climb up to the rim, an overnight solo, and possibly a rappel. Limit of ten students. No previous experience required. Cost: $135. Leader: Chip Mehring .
