Mt. Baker Mountaineering: August 3-8, 2008

Mandatory Pre-Trip Meeting -August 2, 10:00
a.m.-4:00 p.m.
The main focus of this trip experience the high mountains and to learn
the skills to travel safely across glaciers and to climb steep snow. Students
hike in to the south side of Mt. Baker, set up a base camp, and do a few
days of snow training, crevasse rescue and day hiking. If the weather
cooperates, students have time for a couple of summit attempts. Limit
of eight students. No previous experience required. Cost: $90 and some equipment rental. Leaders:
