Spend a Grand Day at Lakeside Middle School!
Grand Day is a morning event from 8:30a.m. to Noon, where we invite grandparents, other relatives or special family friends to join their student at the Middle School to experience a morning as a Lakeside student. Guests will be treated to breakfast, and attend morning classes with their student. The day concludes with a special program featuring student performances.
If you would like to invite a grandparent, relative or special friend to this event it is not too late. Please contact Mary Marlowe (206-440-2726), Special Events Coordinator at the Development Office, with their full name, mailing address and phone number along with any special accommodations and/or parking needs.

Parent Volunteer Opportunities
Come join the fun by helping out either the entire morning or for a couple of hours. We are looking for volunteers to do the following:
- Event set up
- Registration
- Parking lot greeters
- Dining room helpers
- Photography assistants
- Hall monitors
- Ushers

Grand Day is an annual event planned and managed by the Lakeside School Development Office. The Grand Day Committee Chair of the Parents Association assists the Development Office with recruiting and managing parent volunteers, some communications and other efforts as needed.
