We're Generating a Little Fun
The Student Activities Committee came into existence several years back. Some ambitious parents at Lakeside thought that our academically-oriented, achievement-focused environment sometimes led to too much work and not enough play.

The Student Activities Committee hosts the monthly Fizzes with the class representatives and generally is available to work with the School Administrators on social events at the Upper School.

Fizzes are brief, centrally located gatherings built around food. (What better way to get a group of teenagers to flock to a location?). They usually last just as long as the food does and students can easily consume their snack, say 'Hey' to a few friends and still make their bus or carpool.
