Staffing the Machine
Volunteers are the backbone
of the Lakeside Parents Association. Finding
a way to capture the interests of people
and match them to the available volunteer
opportunities is a crucial job in the Parents
Association.
The primary name-collection mechanism is the Volunteer
Form that is distributed as an insert in the August/September
issue of Inside Lakeside. The ever growing
list of volunteer opportunities includes a wide variety
of jobs utilizing a dizzying assortment of skills.
If you have some time and the desire to participate,
there's almost certainly an opportunity that will fit
in your schedule.

Mission
Distribute a survey to all
parents prior to each school year. Based on
survey results, create a record of interested
parents who are available to assist other parents,
faculty, staff and students on various projects,
committees, or in other beneficial capacities.
