Service Learning in Fifth Grade

In the fall, our fifth graders harvested 182 pounds of produce, which went to Shoreline food banks. In the winter, each student designed a stepping stone for the garden and made compostable planting pots for spring plant starts. In early spring, fifth graders organized a Middle School food drive to support the Hope Link Shoreline Food Bank.
