Conquistadors and Indians

Conquistador - An adventurer (especially one who led the Spanish conquest of Mexico and Peru in the 16th century)

      There are many conquistadors from 1400 through 1600.  The three most well known and important explorers were Cabeza de Vaca, Pizarro, and Cortés.  They all travelled around different parts of the world for their own reasons.  Some explorers interacted with Indians and Natives by fighting wars against them; others by living with them.
