Lakeside has won the Seattle Metro Chess League title 7 years running, and has finished first in the League 9 times overall. We have also won 6 of the past of 7 team State Championships, an unprecedented run of success highlighted by 2004's record-breaking score of 23.5/25 at Team State. Unfortunately, Lakeside fell a half point short to Mercer Island this year, relinquishing the honor of 6 straight State Championships.
Our meetings are Thursdays from 2:15 to 3:00, in Allen-Gates 204. Students and faculty of all skill levels are welcome.
