Learning French Through Thornton Creek - Michele Barlow - notes
by Peter Hayes
During the 1993 - '94 school year Michele Barlow worked with Peter Hayes to see whether students could improve their facility in French through studying nearby Thornton Creek and communicating what they found, in French, with watershed studying students in Ontario whose native language is French. The outcome was very similar to the experience described by Kit Maestretti, so that you are encouraged to see her description.
