Libraries and Environmental Studies:

Over the past three years, librarians on both campuses have done a great job of further developing environmental studies related sections of the collections. They have also been alert and responsive to identifying and getting materials which support the work of particular classes and the general professional growth of staff. Three particularly helpful steps have been: devoting the summer reading list to environmental topics in 1995, hosting an initial "roundtable" of librarians in the Thornton Creek watershed, and the steady stream of clippings and related advice which flows from the library to the Environmental Studies Coordinator and on to faculty, or directly to faculty.

All of this support has made and will continue to make an important difference.
