Projects Ceramics II, III, IV
Students returning to Ceramics are expected to gradually work independently under the guidence of the instructor. Project proposals are written as an agreement between the student and the instructor. One-on-one conferences allow for ideas to develop and solidify regarding scale, timeline and influences. Visual research is encouraged to help strengthen the proposal idea.

Ceramic Specializers are students who have chosen to take 3 years of Ceramics, culminating in a focused body of work, shown in a solo show during the Spring semester of their Senior year. (See Student Work.) Specializers are also expected to produce a portfolio which documents their best work over the 3 or 4 years of studio practice. They will also understand how to load and unload kilns, as well as give a demonstration of their choice to an audience.
