Using Fireworks to Resize and Compress a Folder of Images for Web Pages or PowerPoint
• Launch Fireworks. (Start to Programs to Macromedia to Macromedia FireworksMX )
• Under File, select Batch Process.
• Locate the picture folder.
• Open the folder and click on Add All. The image files appear in the window below.
• Click on Next.
• In the Batch Process window, select Export and then click on Add.
• Set the Export Settings to JPEG – Smaller File.
• Select Scale and then click on Add.
• Change No Scaling to Scale to Percentage or Scale to Size.
• Type in the desired percentage or Pixels.
• Click on Next
• Select a location for Batch File. Click the Browse button to locate the desired folder.
• Click on Batch.
• The Batch Process window shows the files being processed.
• When the processing has finished, click OK.
