2025-2026 Admissions and Financial Aid Events

The best way to get to know Lakeside is by meeting our students, faculty, coaches, and we hope you’ll join us for an event to learn more! All admissions and financial aid events are optional, and we encourage families to participate in the events that will be most helpful to them in the school search process. Unless otherwise noted, registration for events will open on September 29 in Ravenna.

Admission at Lakeside Virtual WebinarsOct. 15 2025, Nov. 5 2025, Dec. 3 2025, Jan. 7 2026, and Feb. 4 2026
Interim Director of Enrollment Management Tearon Joseph presents the details of Lakeside’s application process, including how we view the different parts of the application and how we make admissions decisions.

The Admissions at Lakeside Webinar is open only to parents and guardians and is offered monthly, October - February. Please check Ravenna for specific dates and times and to register. 

Middle School Campus ToursOctober 2025 - January 2026
Students and families applying for entry in grades 5-6 for the 2026-2027 school year are invited to tour the Middle School. Led by a member of the admissions team, small group tours explore the Middle School, visiting classrooms, arts, and athletics facilities to learn more about the Middle School student experience. 

All Middle School tours are in-person, last 60-90 minutes, and are available throughout the week. Parents and guardians must bring a photo ID to participate in the tour. Please check Ravenna for dates and times and to register.

Middle School Virtual Tour ExperienceOctober 2025 - January 2026
Join us for an interactive online tour of Lakeside's Middle School, where you'll explore our academic, art, and athletic programs. Current Lakeside student ambassadors will share their experiences and be available to answer your questions. This virtual event is ideal for families who can't visit in person but want to learn more about our Middle School community, academics, and student life. Tours are held virtually via Zoom. Please check Ravenna for specific dates and times to register.

Upper School Campus Tours
October 2025 - January 2026

Students and families applying for entry in grades 9-11 for the 2026-2027 school year are invited to tour the Upper School. Led by Upper School student guides, small group tours explore the Upper School campus, stopping by classrooms, and visiting arts and athletics facilities to learn more about the Upper School student experience. 

All Upper School tours are in-person, last 50-60 minutes, and are available throughout the week. Parents and guardians must bring a photo ID to participate in the tour. Please check Ravenna for dates and times and to register.

Financial Aid at Lakeside Virtual WebinarOct. 27, 2025 and Jan. 20, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. -online 

The Financial Aid Team presents the details of Lakeside’s financial aid process. Topics will include how we determine who qualifies for financial aid and how we evaluate financial aid applications.

Admissions Event for Prospective LGBTQIA+ FamiliesOctober 23, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. -Online

We invite students and families who identify as LGBTQIA+ to hear from (current) LGBTQIA+ identifying students, and parents and guardians about their Lakeside experience. We know community is important, particularly for students and families that may be underrepresented, and we hope this gathering will give families an opportunity to connect and learn more about the Lakeside experience.

Admissions Event for Prospective Black and Hispanic/Latinx Families
October 28, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. - Online

We invite students and families who identify as Black/African American and/or Hispanic/Latino/a/x to hear from current Black and Latinx students and parents and guardians about their Lakeside experience. We know that choosing a school for your student is one of the most important decisions you will make as a family. For Black and Brown families, there is an added layer of complexity as you consider where your child will be seen and see others who look like them, feel heard and understood, feel safe, and feel valued for who they are right now and for who they will be in years to come.

Admissions Event for Low Income Families
November 6, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. - Online

We invite families of students who receive free or reduced lunch or are currently enrolled in a public school where at least 30% of the students receive free or reduced lunch to join us for an admissions event. We understand that the application process and the independent school experience can be unfamiliar. This event will share information on affording Lakeside, our application process, and what students and their families can expect from attending Lakeside.

Admissions Event for Families Applying from K-8 Faith-Based Schools
November 20, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. -Online

We invite students and families from K-8 faith-based schools to join us for an admissions event. Hear from current students, parents and guardians who have transitioned from religious educational backgrounds to Lakeside School. We understand that moving from a faith-based school to a secular independent school can be a significant decision for your family. This event will provide an opportunity to learn more about how Lakeside respects and celebrates diverse religious beliefs while fostering an inclusive community where all students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.

All School Open House
Sunday, December 7, 2025
Upper School- 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.Middle School- 1:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m.(pre-registration is not required)

All students and families interested in Lakeside Upper and Middle Schools (grades 5-11) are welcome to attend the All School Open House. While on campus, families will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, art studios, and athletic facilities, and meet students, faculty, administrators, coaches, and parents and guardians.
