TED@Lakeside
Kent Evans Auditorium (Upper School Campus)
Thursday, April 20
6:30-8:30 p.m.
Doors will open at 6 p.m.
TED@Lakeside is brought to you by the Lakeside Alumni Board.
Changing anything Is often hard. Transformational, systemic change in an entire industry is not only complicated, but it is also rare. In a format resembling the familiar TED talks, you will hear from Lakesiders, who are currently driving systemic change in education, business, law, and the media. Your host will be Alumni Board member, Ric Merrifield '84, and it promises to be a memorable event.
Jens Molbak '80 will explain how he drives systemic change in business by aligning public, private, and social sectors for better societal outcomes. Paul Johnson '84 will speak about his work on DEIB initiatives in various sectors, such as education. Andrea Rodgers '94 will discuss how she is working to make it a constitutionally protected right to a safe climate for children. And with a nation very divided in how Americans consume and trust news and information, Dylan Byers '04 will explain what he is doing to bridge that divide.
Registration is now closed, but walk-ins are welcome. We look forward to seeing you!
