"Circus!" on stage March 26-28

Lakeside Upper School drama students are in the spotlight this March in "Circus!" – three evenings of one-act plays performed and directed by Lakeside students. This year, all the plays have been written by Lakeside students or recent alumni, including Megan Ruppel '16, Anya Vinogradsky '18, Paul Milloy '15, and Genevieve Joers '16.

Performances, which are free of charge, will be held Tuesday, March 26, Wednesday, March 27, and Thursday, March 28 in St. Nicholas Auditorium. Shows start at 6 p.m., and are anticipated to end by 7:30 p.m. Please note that some plays contain mature language and subject matter.

A selection of the nine plays will be performed each evening; each play will be performed twice. "It is a program-wide celebration," said drama teacher Alban Dennis. "It encompasses all areas: acting, writing, directing, producing, and technical theater. The students are taking control, doing the work, and applying all that they are learning."
