FAQ: Middle School welcome nights

What are Middle School welcome nights?
Welcome nights are an opportunity for Middle School parents and guardians to talk with administrators about the academic, developmental, and co-curricular aspects of each grade at the Middle School.

At the 5th-, 6th-, and 7th-grade nights, parents and guardians of current students, as well as new students and their parents and guardians, will learn more about the grade-level student experience at Lakeside and what resources are available to families. School photos for the 2019-2020 school year will be taken for new students, and they will have an opportunity to become familiar with their new classmates through fun games. Parents and guardians will have the chance to learn more about programs and ask questions of the teachers and administrators.

The Welcome to 8th Grade/GSL Night includes important information about the fall 8th-Grade Global Service Learning trips, which will take place in September 2019. Parents and guardians will also learn more about the 7th grade outdoor trips in May.
