These events take place at Lakeside's Middle School campus (13510 1st Avenue NE) most Thursdays, 4-5 p.m., through the end of January 2020 and are the only required visit for students during the application process. Registration is required in Ravenna (once a family has submitted the preliminary application) and we encourage applicants to complete this step as early as possible.

- 4:00 p.m. – Start of event
- Parents/guardians go to the Evans Theater for a Q&A with an administrator, math faculty, and current Lakeside parent/guardian.
- Applicants go to a classroom for a student panel and small group activity.
- 5:00 p.m. – End of event
- Students and parents/guardians reconvene outside the dining room.
Middle School admissions visits are released on a rolling basis. Here are the dates for the remainder of the season:
- November 7, 14, 21
- December 5, 12, 19

Finally, applicants are not asked to prepare anything for the event and only need to bring an open mind and positive attitude. See you at the Middle School!

Upper School interviews, tours and open houses
A required piece of Lakeside’s Upper School application is the interview. The Upper School interview is a one-on-one, informal conversation with a faculty or staff member in Fix Hall, located on the Upper School campus (14050 1st Ave NE). There are no set questions, nor anything students need to bring or prepare. Parents/guardians are welcome to join in the last few minutes for questions. Upper School interviews are typically 20-30 minutes in length and offered throughout the week from October through January – including morning, afternoon, and early evening time slots. Registration is required in Ravenna (once a family has submitted the preliminary application), and we encourage applicants to complete this step as early as possible.
A great way to learn more about the Upper School is to come on a tour! Our student-led, small group tours last approximately 30-40 minutes and are designed to give your family a general overview of the Upper School. You will spend time looking in on classrooms, arts and athletics facilities, and learning more about the Lakeside Upper School student experience. Tours are only for prospective students and their parents/guardians. We offer Upper School tours on most Mondays and Fridays – see available dates and times and register in Ravenna.
The Upper School will be hosting two open houses this year, Oct. 27 from 3-6 p.m. and Dec. 15 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Drop by and explore our campus, connect with faculty and program representatives, and/or attend a student panel.
We look forward to seeing you at the Upper School!
