An Independent School • Grades 5-12

Palentines month is a great way for us to connect and learn something new about a classmate. Through a mad-lib Google form, letters will be generated and sent to partners. These will not be signed but have lots of fun information, like things about pets, movies, and games. Then at the end of the month, after all the letters are sent to students, there will be a big, remote, Palentine reveal party with games. At the party, students will try to guess who their Palentine is. The games will also be played with Palentine partners.

Palentines month, which is organized by the Students Taking Action club, is important to the Middle School community because you get to connect with someone you don't know and it encourages you to make friends outside your comfort zone. You might learn something new about someone or make a new friend. It encourages us to be more open to new things, and most of all, it is a fun activity for the Middle School community!

My favorite part of this project is planning the reveal party as a member of the Students Taking Action club. It is hard in the sense that we have to do it in a remote way, but fun because we get to choose some fun games to be played with Palentines.  I think Palentines month will be really fun this year!
