An Independent School • Grades 5-12

by Andrew Krus, director of performing and visual arts

Every spring, Lakeside students showcase their artistic growth and creative development at our annual celebration of the visual and performing arts, Arts Fest. While this year’s Arts Fest will take a different form than in the past, our students and faculty are excited to share their work with you.

Arts Fest 2020 will be a virtual experience released on June 2, featuring both visual and performing arts by students from the Middle and Upper schools. Families will receive an emailed invitation the morning of June 2, from which they can peruse student work.

Families are also invited to a live virtual performance by Drama IV students at 6 p.m. on June 2. Students will perform several scenes and share information about the upcoming Drama IV Showcase during this half-hour event. Mark your calendars, and look for the Zoom invitation in the June 2 Arts Fest email.

The arts faculty have been engaging students in creative online experiences that are true to our core philosophy — which is that all students share their best work with the world. We look forward to sharing it with you.

Thank you for your continued support of the arts. Look for an event invitation on June 2, and enjoy the show!
