On Friday, Nov. 18, Lakeside will celebrate the fifth annual Fall Festival, a school-wide celebration that provides an opportunity for the community to come together and relax in the later months of a busy fall season. Students can enjoy activities including escape rooms, Mario Kart, ping pong, spike ball tournaments, friendship bracelet-making, watercolors, and more, with fun prizes like Pocky offered for competitions.
Middle School students will attend from 1:30-3 p.m. and can look forward to a tasty carnival treat, and Upper School students will attend from 3:30-5 p.m., when pizza and dessert will be available. Activities will take place indoors in the WCC, Moore Hall, and the Athletics Center. Signs will be posted outside the WCC guiding students to the variety of booths.
The festival is a fundraiser for – and organized by — Lakeside’s student affinity, alliance, and learning groups and will supplement their programming throughout the year. Middle School students will receive 5 tickets; an $8 entry fee gets Upper School students 8 tickets for activities and food. Tickets can be purchased at the event using a student ID; financial aid is available.
