The Pfizer vaccine was approved for emergency use for children age 5-11 on Tuesday, Nov. 2, and Lakeside has extended the COVID-19 vaccine requirement to students under age 12. Lakeside School requires all eligible students to be vaccinated against COVID-19, with medical and religious exemptions allowed.
We continue to look at offering a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on-campus for our unvaccinated 5th and 6th graders as soon as possible. The following opportunities for vaccination have been shared by members of the Lakeside community. The below information was correct as of Tuesday, Nov. 9.
Parents and guardians of 5th and 6th graders will receive an email with details and information on when and how they must upload student vaccine information, once vaccine access has stabilized and is more widespread.
