Lakeside has three teams competing this weekend that are state championship contenders!

Girls Soccer: After winning the Metro League Championship and scoring a solid 3-0 win over Stadium in round 1 of the state tournament, our girls soccer team faces Ferndale in the quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. at Ingraham High School. Follow along @LakesideLionsFC

Girls Swim & Dive: There are two days of the state swim meet: Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16. In the preliminary round this Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the King County Aquatic Center, our swimmers will compete for their place in the finals. The finals take place Saturday with racing beginning at 7 p.m. Follow the action @LakesideLionsSD.

Volleyball: This week our girls volleyball team defeated Bainbridge and Bellevue. These results put the team in the semifinals for the district tournament and guaranteed them a spot in the state tournament next weekend in Yakima! Saturday, Nov. 16 at Sammamish High School, they will face off against Roosevelt at 11 a.m. Depending on the result of that match, they will play at either 5:30 p.m. (for third or fourth place) or 7:30 p.m. (for first or second place). Follow them @LakesideLionsVB.

Congratulations to our athletes, coaches, and teams!
