Investigative Learning Camp Jr. (Grades 3-4)

Exploration and play lead to serious learning at Lakeside's Investigative Learning Camp Jr. Our camp is open to the public.

Students from any school entering grades 3-4 enjoy a morning academic class in the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) realm, followed by a fun and engaging afternoon activity. Campers are taught by dynamic elementary and middle-school teachers and supported by a diverse group of camp counselors who share campers’ passion for learning.

Class options

Families register for individual weeks. Campers choose a morning class and an afternoon class for each week of camp. Please note that some classes will be offered certain weeks but not others. Classes are first come, first served, so register early for your first choice classes. Registration opens to the public on our website February 13.

Campers signed up for morning art or afternoon cooking should wear clothes that may get messy. Smocks/aprons will be provided, but spills do happen! Campers signed up for all activities (and especially afternoon sports) should wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.
