Soak it in

Summer is a time to explore, play, and learn – in the classroom and out of it.

Summer School Programs

Lakeside offers four different summer programs that nurture and develop students' passions. Each summer, over 600 students from the greater Seattle area spend between one to six weeks on campus, enjoying thoughtful and engaging classrooms, fun outdoor activities and sports, and quality time with their peers and teachers.

Financial aid is available for all summer programs. LEEP is free.

Academic Courses (Grades 9-12)

Students entering grades 9 – 12 choose from a variety of courses, including those that earn high-school credit and build academic skills.

Investigative Learning Camp (Grades 5-8)

Students entering grades 5-8 explore science, technology, engineering, art, math, and writing in hands-on, project-based classes.

Athletics Camps (Grades 5-9)

Students entering grades 5-9 learn new sports and improve their athletic skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Lakeside Educational Enrichment Program (LEEP) (Grades 6 or 9)

Designed for students entering 6th or 9th grade in Seattle Public Schools, LEEP aims to stimulate students’ intellectual curiosity and support them in gaining new knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
