Message from the Director of Development

Daiga Galins

From Lakeside’s founding over a century ago to today, a spirit of giving has characterized the school community. Gifts of time, leadership, and resources, no matter how large or small, all make a difference. Your support ensures that we can hire and retain expert teachers, provide financial aid to a third of our students, and support all aspects of a Lakeside education, from academics to arts to athletics. As director of development, I see firsthand the impact that donations have on our students’ lives, and the joy that donors experience when they make such gifts. We count on donations to the Lakeside Fund and strive to achieve a high percentage of participation from all members of the school community. Parents and guardians are also encouraged to support the ROAR auction, which supports both the Lakeside Fund and the Parents and Guardians Association. Thank you for your generosity!
